A barcode is not found or a value looks wrong

Gramwise looks up barcodes in Open Food Facts and, for US products, in a bundled USDA FoodData Central catalog. If a product is missing or its protein value differs from the pack, scan the nutrition label instead or type the value from the pack. Your correction is saved on your iPhone and used the next time you scan that barcode. Always check the protein per 100 g against the package.

Restore a purchase

Open Settings → Pro → Restore purchases, or tap Restore on the Pro screen. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. Gramwise has no account, so purchases are always tied to your Apple Account.

Cancel or change a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Gramwise and cancel or change your plan. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your food log

Your log is stored on your iPhone and needs no account. It is included in your device backup. Deleting the app deletes the log stored by the app.

Apple Health

With Pro, you can export your protein log to Apple Health in Settings → Apple Health. Gramwise only writes protein and never reads your Health data. Edits and deletions in Gramwise update the exported entries. You can change access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Gramwise.

Food data

Product data comes from Open Food Facts under the Open Database License (ODbL). Basic foods and the offline US barcode catalog come from USDA FoodData Central.
